Working with word-redo

Working with Word:

1. Creating a new file:

Step 1: Click on the file tab

Step 2: Click on New option.

Step 3: Click on Blank Document option from the available templates.

2. Writing text:

Step 1: Open Microsoft Word on your computer.

Step 2: Click on a blank document.

Step 3: Use the keyboard to type your words.

3. Selecting text:

a. Selecting text using a keyboard:

Step 1: Hold the Shift key.

Step 2: Use the arrow keys to move the cursor over the text you want to select.

b. Selecting text using a mouse:

Step 1: Click at the start of the text you want to select.

Step 2: Hold the left mouse button and drag it over the text.

Step 3: Release the button and your text will shine.

4. Inserting text:

Step 1: Find the spot where you want to add new text.

Step 2: Click with the mouse at that spot.

Step 3: Start typing the new text.

5. Undo/Redo:

Step 1: See the top of the screen? There are two buttons: Undo and Redo.

Step 2: Made a mistake? Click Undo to make it disappear,

Step 3: Want to bring back what you undid? Click Redo

6. Cut, Copy, Paste:

Step 1: Highlight the text you want to cut.

Step 2: Click Cut or use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + X.

Step 3: The text will disappear like it was snipped by scissors!

Step 4: Want to duplicate text? Click Copy or use Ctrl + C.

Step 5: Now, click where you want to paste the text and click Paste or use Ctrl + V.

7. Spell Check:

Step 1: Look at the top of the screen, find the Review tab.

Step 2: Click on Spelling & Grammar.

8. Thesaurus:

Step 1: Still on the Review tab, look for Thesaurus.

Step 2: Click on it, and many words will open, helping you find new words!
